Course overview
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) assesses Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, and is widely used for study, work and migration. There are two versions: IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training.
At VGI, your preparation is led by a trainer with an overall IELTS band score of 8.5 and band 9 in both Listening and Reading. We focus on understanding every task type, building the skills behind the score, and practising under test-like conditions.
Curriculum
Question types, note-taking, spelling accuracy and focus across all four parts.
Skimming, scanning, True / False / Not Given, matching headings and time management.
Academic: describing charts, graphs and processes. General Training: letters for different purposes.
Essay planning, clear paragraphs, vocabulary range and grammatical accuracy.
Fluency, pronunciation and developed answers for Parts 1, 2 and 3.
Timed practice with feedback on strengths and areas to improve.
